Paddington Pups Flood Progress

As you are probably already aware, Paddington Pups was one of the businesses unfortunately located in the path of Brisbane’s recent and devastating floods.  Tuesday (11th Jan) the Paddington Pups staff safely evacuated home some 35 daycare dogs by the early afternoon. By 3am the following morning the daycare was already 1 metre under water. At its peak the water level reached around 8 feet or about 3 meters within Paddington Pups!

Luckily the team managed to move most of the stock upstairs to an area which thankfully remained dry. The waters receded by Friday morning and the monumental task of cleaning up began.

Paddington Pups Seriously Flooded Now and More to Come

Just Letting everyone know we are seriously flooded now and still major peaks expected this afternoon and tomorrow morning.

We might need some help to get back up and running when the flood water subsides.

Brisbane Flood Update at Paddington Pups 3am…. First High Tide of the Day

3 am the first high tide of the morning and I am very sad to say Paddington Pups is already about 1 meter under water!

Flood Preperation at Paddington Pups

A Huge thanks goes out to all the clients today for a great and speedy emergency evacuation we managed to get 35 dogs home in 1 and 1/2 hours.

Also huge thanks to my staff we have managed to move all stock upstairs to what we hope is safety.

We will unfortunately be closed for business for safety reasons while Heussler Terrace is expect to go under with flooding – at this stage I expect we will be close both Wednesday and Thursday.

We will keep you update on developments I hope you and your family stay safe.
