Wonder what your Dog Gets Up to all Day at Paddington Pups Doggy Daycare?

The day starts with dropping off and greeting everyone.  This involves lots of tails wagging, barking and running around.  Then at about 9am when nearly all the puppy friends have arrived the walking starts.

We walk all the dogs either around the streets of Paddington and Milton, around Suncorp stadium, or we take some of the bigger dogs to the local off leash park, where they run and stretch their legs and in the case of this photo they play in the mud!

When they go down to the park they usually get to go with a whole team of dogs. If there is only one staff member going to the park 4 lucky dogs get to go, if there are 2 staff members up to 8 dogs get to go. When there is a big group of them, they tend to run around more and get into much more trouble.

We also throw tennis balls and the odd stick if we have been so requested by a dog.  It’s great being a part of the pack and is always fun to watch. As you can imagine 8 dogs all playing fetch for one ball can be a lot of fun and exercise.

While the dogs are being walked, the staff members back at Paddington Pups are looking after the rest of the dogs. Dog grooming, dog cuddling and playing with the dogs and their preferred toys.

Then when all the walks are done, we feed lunches and begin washing dogs. On  the days when they get completely covered in mud down at the park, the puppies get a bath on us (we don’t want to send them home all filthy dirty like Molly in this photo)

The dogs then tend to have nap time for about an hour before the playing starts up again just before the excitement of home time hits.

Then all the puppies go home and have a great sleep until next time at Paddington Pups.
