“Dogs are never too young or too old to learn.”
This is one of the many things we have learned over the years of working with dogs.
In our society, more and more people are including a furry friend in their family, but how many of us are exploring the full capability of our dog’s minds?
Most dogs will display clear satisfaction in training, but most is not all. It’s hard to see and accept progress through time, but any progress is still progress. Even if you think your dog is disinterested, their mind is still ticking and the task is still sticking.
When we get dogs, our true goal is friendship, loyalty and companionship. But as much as we believe our dogs are satisfied and healthy, a lack of guidance and direction can be challenging for dogs.
Sometimes, life can get in the way and we assume our furry friends will just understand and adapt to this. But barking, destructive behaviour and pulling on a leash can leave us wondering why our dogs display this behaviour, without understanding the lack of guidance behind it.
Daycare is a great outlet for a socially confident dog, but is this enough? What is a socially confident dog?
Paddington Pups has introduced ‘Dog Training Done for You’ in order to be a second set of insight and guidance for your dog and their behaviours. This program is designed to be hands-on and informative, giving you and your dog the guidance needed while you maintain your busy schedule and take home a structured program to continue in your own time. However, this doesn’t mean it is all in our hands. We will guide your dogs through the basics, whatever that may be to you, but it is your responsibility as owners to help guide your pups and meet their needs.
Each session your dog partakes in is clearly outlined for you to take home and continue. This means you are constantly in the loop and in control.
We have stated that through this program, we will help create the ‘best-behaved dog’ but we truly aim to create guidance and understanding of your dog. Every dog is different and we truly understand this. Our goal is clear; we want to help you and your dog reach your full potential.
For more info, read the blog for our Dog Training Done for You, give us a call or send an email to Info@PaddingtonPups.com.au and our team will happily talk you through any questions or concerns you may have.
This is Paddington Pups’ first guided training program so we are super excited to embark on this journey with you and your dog.
Our dogs are our best friends, they support us in more ways than some of us know. This journey could be your steps to creating a mutually beneficial relationship for you and your dog in a way that is both comforting and exciting for you both.
