Does Your Pup Seem Sick?

15 November 2022

Has your dog been vomiting, having diarrhea at home or showing signs of unusual fatigue? If your pup is displaying signs of being unwell that are out of character or cannot be explained, please keep them at home to rest, or take them for a visit at your local vet. Bringing in a sick pup to daycare will result in a call for them to be picked up for the health of the other pups as well as their own.

Conditions such as gastro can be highly contagious and can spread to other dogs quickly, so it’s important to be aware of the symptoms and keep your dog at home until they are fully recovered.

At Paddington Pups we pride ourselves on being a safe, fun and social environment for your dog where they come in happy and healthy and leave the same way. For us to be able to achieve this environment, we must adhere to strict rules around health and hygiene. In a facility such as ours, we simply can’t risk having an illness come in that could potentially spread to the other dogs.

We love and care for each and every pup that comes through our doors and it is both our duty as well as our pleasure to look after them. In cases where a pup is sick, the best care we can offer is sending them home to rest so that they can come back healthy and full of energy for their next visit!
